Cheese Burger Cups
Here’s a kids-friendly recipe for cheeseburger cups:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, pickles, lettuce
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, mustard, and salt and pepper. Add this mixture to the cooked ground beef and stir to combine.
- Flatten each biscuit slightly and press them into each muffin cup, forming a cup shape.
- Spoon the beef mixture into each biscuit cup, filling them almost to the top. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the beef.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuit edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Allow the cheeseburger cups to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the muffin tin. Top with optional toppings if desired.
