Here’s a kids-friendly recipe for cheeseburger cups:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, pickles, lettuce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, mustard, and salt and pepper. Add this mixture to the cooked ground beef and stir to combine.
  4. Flatten each biscuit slightly and press them into each muffin cup, forming a cup shape.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture into each biscuit cup, filling them almost to the top. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the beef.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuit edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Allow the cheeseburger cups to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the muffin tin. Top with optional toppings if desired.
