Cheese Hotdog

Here’s a simple and kid-friendly recipe for Cheese Hotdogs that you can make together with your little ones.

Ingredients:

  • 4 hotdog sausages
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or your favorite type)
  • 4 hotdog buns
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)
  • Pickles or other toppings (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Hotdogs:
  • If you’re using uncooked hotdogs, boil them in a pot of water for about 5-7 minutes until heated through. If they’re pre-cooked, you can skip this step or just warm them up.
  1. Add the Cheese:
  • While the hotdogs are cooking, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Once the hotdogs are heated, place a slice of cheese on top of each hotdog. You can fold the cheese if it’s too big.
  1. Melt the Cheese:
  • Place the hotdogs on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  1. Assemble the Hotdogs:
  • Take the hotdogs out of the oven (be careful, it’s hot!).
  • Place each cheesy hotdog into a bun.
  1. Add Toppings:
  • Let your kids add their favorite toppings like ketchup, mustard, or pickles.
  1. Serve and Enjoy:
  • Serve the cheese hotdogs warm and enjoy your delicious creation!

Tips:

  • You can also add some veggies like diced tomatoes or shredded lettuce for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • Make it fun by letting your kids decorate their hotdogs with different toppings!

Enjoy your cheesy hotdog making!
