Cheesy Pressed Sandwich
Here’s a simple and kid-friendly recipe for a cheesy pressed sandwich:
Ingredients:
– 4 slices of bread
– 4 slices of cheddar cheese
– 2 tablespoons of butter
– Optional: ham or turkey slices
Instructions:
1. Place a slice of cheese on two slices of bread. Add ham or turkey slices if desired.
2. Top with the remaining slices of bread to form sandwiches.
3. Spread butter on the outsides of the sandwiches.
4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
5. Place the sandwiches in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
6. If you have a sandwich press, you can also use that to press the sandwiches until they are golden and the cheese is melted.
