Ham and Pineapple Fried Rice
Here’s a simple recipe for ham and pineapple fried rice:
Ingredients:
– 3 cups cooked and chilled white rice
– 1 cup diced cooked ham
– 1 cup diced pineapple
– 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
– 1/2 cup diced onion
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 eggs, beaten
– 3 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Green onions for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
2. Add the diced ham and cook for 2-3 minutes until it starts to brown.
3. Push the ham to one side of the pan and add the beaten eggs to the other side. Scramble the eggs until they are cooked through, then mix them with the ham.
4. Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
5. Stir in the chilled rice, breaking up any clumps as you go.
6. Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce to the pan, and stir to combine.
