Instant Pot Asian Sticky Ribs

Here’s a kid-friendly recipe for Instant Pot Asian Sticky Ribs:

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds pork ribs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Optional: sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cut the pork ribs into individual pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Place the ribs in the Instant Pot and pour the sauce over them.
  4. Add water to the Instant Pot.
  5. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 25 minutes.
  6. Once the cooking is done, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then do a quick release.
  7. Carefully remove the ribs from the Instant Pot and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
  9. Brush the thickened sauce over the ribs.
  10. Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top for garnish.
  11. Serve the sticky ribs and enjoy!
