Japanese-style Burger

Here’s a kid-friendly recipe for a Japanese-style burger:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, grated ginger, brown sugar, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the buns and adding any optional toppings your kids enjoy.
  6. Serve the Japanese-style burgers with a side of fries or a salad for a complete meal.

Enjoy your Japanese-style burgers!
