Lazy Lasagna
Here’s a kid-friendly recipe for Lazy Lasagna:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 no-boil lasagna noodles
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the pasta sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place 2 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
- Spread half of the cheese mixture over the noodles.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining meat sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
