Paneer Momos

Here’s a kid-friendly recipe for Paneer Momos:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crumbled paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum (bell pepper)
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chilies (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro (coriander)
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 20-25 round momo wrappers

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled paneer, chopped cabbage, carrots, capsicum, green chilies, cilantro, grated ginger, soy sauce, oil, and salt. Mix well to form a uniform filling.
  2. Take a momo wrapper and place a spoonful of the paneer filling in the center of the wrapper.
  3. Fold the wrapper in half to form a half-moon shape and pinch the edges together to seal the momo. You can also create pleats along the edge for a decorative touch.
  4. Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  5. Steam the momos in a steamer for 8-10 minutes until the wrappers are cooked and the filling is heated through.
  6. Serve the paneer momos with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as soy sauce or a simple tomato-based chutney.

These paneer momos are not only delicious but also a fun and healthy snack for kids to enjoy!
