Pepperoni Pizza Rolls
Here’s a kid-friendly recipe for Pepperoni Pizza Rolls:
Ingredients:
– 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
– 1/2 cup pizza sauce
– 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 20-24 slices of pepperoni
– 1 tablespoon melted butter
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
– Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll out the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface.
3. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
4. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the sauce.
5. Place the pepperoni slices all over the cheese.
6. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly to form a log.
7. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 1-inch slices and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
8. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, oregano, and basil. Brush this mixture over the tops of the pizza rolls.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
