Stovetop Mac & Cheese

Here’s a simple and kid-friendly recipe for Stovetop Mac & Cheese that you can make in about 20 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (or any pasta shape you like)
  • 2 cups milk (whole or 2% works best)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar cheese is a favorite, but you can mix in other cheeses like mozzarella or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
