Kid-Friendly Tuna Puffs
Ingredients:
- 1 can of tuna (5 oz), drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped vegetables (like bell peppers or peas)
- 1 package of puff pastry (usually comes with 2 sheets)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, shredded cheese, mustard (if using), and chopped vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything until well combined.
- Roll Out Puff Pastry:
- If using frozen puff pastry, let it thaw according to package instructions.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut Out Shapes:
- Use a cookie cutter or a knife to cut out squares or circles (about 3×3 inches or 4 inches in diameter) from the puff pastry.
- Fill the Pastry:

- Egg Wash:
