Garlic Soya Noodles

Here’s a kid-friendly recipe for garlic soya noodles:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) dried noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, snap peas, etc.)
  • Optional: cooked chicken or tofu for added protein

Instructions:

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and honey. Set aside.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and pour the sauce over the top. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in the sauce.
  6. If using, add the cooked chicken or tofu to the pan and toss to combine.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Serve the garlic soya noodles warm and enjoy!
