Garlic Soya Noodles
Here’s a kid-friendly recipe for garlic soya noodles:
Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) dried noodles
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, snap peas, etc.)
- Optional: cooked chicken or tofu for added protein
Instructions:
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and honey. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chopped vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan and pour the sauce over the top. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in the sauce.
- If using, add the cooked chicken or tofu to the pan and toss to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve the garlic soya noodles warm and enjoy!
