Ginger and Garlic Prawn

Here’s a nutritious and kid-friendly ginger and garlic prawn recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander (optional)
  • Cooked rice or noodles, to serve

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the prawns to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, salt, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the prawns and stir to coat them evenly.
  5. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the prawns.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped fresh coriander, if desired.
  7. Serve the ginger and garlic prawns over cooked rice or noodles.
