I am a former MOE-trained educator with over 8 years of experience teaching in a Singapore government Special Assistance Plan (SAP) primary school, specializing in Chinese Language and Higher Chinese from Primary 1 to Primary 6. During my time with MOE, I was appointed as a PSLE marker for the national examinations, handling both reading and writing papers, and served as an oral examiner for Chinese.
In addition, I have 4 years of experience teaching IGCSE Chinese to students aged 16–17, including First Language Chinese (0509), Chinese as a Second Language (0523), and Mandarin Chinese (0547). I am also a trained oral examiner for the 0523 and 0547 IGCSE examinations.
Currently, I work as a part-time online tutor, offering small-group Chinese language support. I design customized revision packages tailored to each student’s learning needs and examination goals, focusing on both skill development and academic achievement. My aim is to help students build confidence, improve proficiency, and succeed in both school and external exams.
