Curry Samosa

Here’s a nutritious and kid-friendly curry samosa recipe for your child:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup cooked green peas
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 12-15 samosa wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Steps to make curry samosas:

  1. In a pan, heat some oil and sauté the chopped onions and minced garlic until they turn translucent.
  2. Add the mashed sweet potatoes and green peas to the pan and mix well.
  3. Add the curry powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to the mixture and stir to combine all the ingredients. Cook for a few minutes until the flavors are well combined.
  4. Allow the filling to cool down to room temperature.
  5. Take a samosa wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
  6. Fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle, then continue folding until you reach the end of the wrapper. Use a little water to seal the edges.
  7. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the samosas and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove the samosas from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.

Now your nutritious and kid-friendly curry samosas are ready to be served! Enjoy!
